Mahalla — a channel about neighborhood communities
The mahalla is a traditional form of neighborhood self-government in Uzbekistan, and the Mahalla channel is entirely devoted to its life. It airs reports from city neighborhoods and villages, family stories, conversations about raising children, customs and holidays, and stories about social problems that residents solve together.
Programs include Mahalla Reportaji, Qishloq Hayoti, Otalar So‘zi-Aqlining Ko‘zi and Kun Nafasi: on-the-ground reports, stories about rural life, and programs about folk wisdom and current events of the day.
