Az TV is Azerbaijan’s oldest TV channel and the main channel of the country’s state broadcaster, with a history dating back to 1956. It is a general-interest channel airing news, public affairs programs, programs about culture and history, concerts, sports broadcasts and series. Broadcasting is in Azerbaijani.
Programs include Həftə, Telesəhər, Aztv xəbər, Dünya nədən danışır? and Yekun: weekly and daily news bulletins, a morning show and a review of international events.
