CGTN — world news from Beijing
CGTN (China Global Television Network) is an international English-language channel that has operated since 2016 on the basis of the former CCTV News. Its headquarters are in Beijing, with regional studios in Washington and Nairobi. The channel covers events in China and Asia, the global economy and international politics.
Programs include The World Today, China24, Africa Live, The Heat and World Insight with Tian Wei: a review of world events, news from China, a bulletin from the Africa studio, a talk show with experts and a discussion program hosted by Tian Wei.
