“Мир” — the channel of the Commonwealth countries
“Мир” is the main channel of the “Мир” Interstate Television and Radio Company, founded in 1992 by the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States. It is a general-interest channel in Russian: news from CIS countries, public affairs programs, programs about history, culture and shared heritage, as well as feature films and series.
Programs include “Вместе каждый день”, “Новости”, “Евразия. Дословно”, “Исторический детектив с Николаем Валуевым” and “Сделано в Содружестве”: life in the CIS countries, news bulletins, long-form interviews, historical investigations and stories about the region’s industry and companies.
