TRT Avaz — a channel about the Turkic world
TRT Avaz is a channel of the Turkish broadcaster TRT, created in 2009 for viewers in Turkic-speaking countries — from Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Programs air in Turkish and other Turkic languages. The channel covers the culture, history, music, cuisine and travel routes of the Turkic world, as well as events in these countries.
Programs include Avaz Gündem, Türk Dünyası Keşif Rotası, Adım Adım Türkistan’da, Sence Bilir Mi? and Medeniyetin Yüzleri: news from Turkic-speaking countries, travels across Central Asia and the Caucasus, a quiz and stories about the people who shaped a shared culture.
